Balloon Twisting

In addition to being an award winning magician, Melissa has also won accolades and a great deal of attention for her balloon twisting.

She first taught herself to twist balloons as a way to help out at her school fair, but was quickly inspired to learn more from many of the wonderful twisters she's been fortunate enough to meet.

These days, to help quench her thirst for balloons, her parents let her skip school and travel into New York City to attend master classes and study with some of the world's best balloon artists. (Don Caldwell, Robbie Furman, and Willy Monroe just to name a few folks)

Melissa has also been blessed to be a part of Balloon Manor www.balloonmanor.com It's a ten thousand square foot Haunted house built entirely out of balloons-- by far the best Halloween House you'll ever see. And best of all, all proceeds go to people living with cancer.

Deco-Twisting

Melissa is one of just a handful of "Deco-Twisters" in Connecticut and quite possibly the youngest! Deco-Twisters combine classic balloon decorating with twisted creations. The possibilities are endless! While she enjoys twisting balloon animals and characters at parties and other celebrations, she's also comfortable performing at larger, community events too.

Getting Your Own Melissa Balloon Creation

Melissa twists balloons for customers at Senor Pancho's Restaurant in Southbury on the first Saturday of every month. Come get a balloon for yourself from 6:00-8:00pm at Senor Pancho's, 385 Main Street South, in Southbury.
